Golden Lion Hotel was built in 1999 and developed into a 3* hotel with 17 beautiful ensuite bedrooms, ranging from single rooms, twins, executive doubles and a four poster with a Jacuzzi bath. Guests are assured a warm welcome received on arrival and individually designed rooms furnished with free Wifi, HD televisions and complimentary tea & coffee facilities.

PRIVATE PARTIES

The Golden Lion offers a truly professional service to all private parties whether its Wedding Anniversaries, Milestone Birthdays, Weddings & Reunions.

We have two Function Rooms called Rocks & Jaccs Function Suite: Rocks: being an intimate setting at in the Restaurant where a party of 10-20 people can enjoy a sit down meal with impeccable hospitality, a bespoke menu to cater for all dietary requirements and an extended Wine List to complete the setting.

Our Second Function Room is Jaccs Suite where we cater from 25 – 70 guests. This is located in the Hotel in a beautiful Open Plan room enhanced with natural sunlight, a crystal Chandelier in the centre of the ceiling, Private Bar, Disabled Toilet facilities available and your own dance floor to dance the night away.
